What Is Actually In The Tin
Organic arabica coffee is 54% of the blend. Organic sea moss powder is 10%. The remaining 36% is lion's mane, cordyceps, chaga, maca and ashwagandha.
On a 2.5g cup that works out at around 250mg of sea moss and around 900mg of mushrooms and adaptogens. The mushrooms are 100% fruiting bodies, so no mycelium and no grain filler.
Those percentages are printed on the back of the tin. We would rather you checked them than took our word for it.
Four Ways It Fits
One teaspoon into a little hot water or milk, mix thoroughly, then top up the mug.
Rich and smooth either way, with subtle malted and umami notes underneath.
Roughly 57% less caffeine than a standard cup, so it is the one you can still have late in the afternoon.
No more than two cups, because of the beta glucan content of the mushroom extracts.
One Mushroom, Or Three?
A single mushroom, usually lion's mane, at anything from 44p to a pound a cup.
Three mushrooms, three adaptogens and St Lucian sea moss, at 55p a cup across 60 servings.
This is breadth rather than one big number, and we are not claiming more of any single mushroom than anyone else. What we will claim is that nobody else puts sea moss in coffee, and that our percentages are printed on the tin.
Frequently Asked
How much caffeine is in a cup?
Roughly 57% less than an average cup of coffee. Enough to still taste and work like coffee, little enough that a four o'clock cup is not a decision you regret at midnight.
What does it taste like?
Rich, roasted and smooth, with subtle malted and umami notes from the mushrooms. It works with milk or without.
Is it fruiting body or mycelium?
100% fruiting bodies. No mycelium and no grain filler, which is what a lot of the cheaper blends in this category are made of.
How many cups a day?
No more than two, because of the beta glucan content of the mushroom extracts.
Where do the mushrooms come from?
Organic certified and Di Dao planting bases in China and Siberia, chosen for the growing conditions rather than the price. Every batch of mushroom extract is third party tested at our partner labs in the United States for purity and heavy metals.
Who should check before drinking it?
It contains caffeine, and sea moss is naturally rich in iodine. If you have a thyroid condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take prescription medication, speak with your GP or pharmacist first.
